Note: I have classified this as a BETA download. It has been tested on several systems, but I cannot guarantee it will work. There may also be issues with some of the game's features that are yet to be resolved. Apologies in advance if the game fails to run.

:: Requirements::

FuturePong was developed in OpenGL/C++ using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.

In order to run, this program will require "vcredist_x86.exe" (included with the download) to be installed before it will work.

All other dependencies have been included.

:: Instructions ::

1. Extract the ZIP file to a location of your choosing.
2. Locate and run "vcredist_x86.exe" -
This will install the files required to run a MS Visual C++ program.
2. Locate and run "FuturePong.exe" to start the game.

:: Problems ::

If there is a problem with the download/installation or running of this application, please contact me.

There is one known problem, which occurs when one of the system DLL files is out-of-date or corrupted, and is missing a required method. There is currently no known resolution for this issue.

Collision Detection - improvement to collision between ball and paddles.
GUI Improvements - Interface now includes additional decorative components
and an icon to show who was the last player to hit the ball.
Winner Effects - Fireworks have been added to the "Player X Wins" Screen

Ball Speed - speed is more accurately regulated, should increase over time.
Crowd - crowd textures and animations have been improved.
Rockets - rocket thrust flames and smoke trail added.
Graphics Tweaks - other minor modifications to arena, textures and lighting.
