Team Project:

One of our assignments was a team project, the aim of which was to build an online, multi-player space-combat game. I was in a team of three, and I was resposible mainly for designing the game, and for implementing the graphics engine and game mechanics. My colleagues worked on AI, networking, GUI and database features.

The game we produced was Starforce, a game which I have continued to develop. More information about this game can be found here.

Notes:

  • I was chosen to take part in the placement by Midway from eight students who applied for the position.
  • Our team won prizes for "best gameplay" for our team project (Starforce).
